Clique was designed to simplify and streamline affiliate onboarding and tracking their metrics. The goal was to make it easier for affiliates to join, manage their accounts, and monitor their performance.
The dashboard hit the ground running. We added many features for tracking metrics and successfully teamed up with the country's top influencers. This helped us reach 9.6 million people and boost our conversion rate by 32%.
As the lead designer on this project, I was involved from ideation to product launch. I collaborated closely with a cross-functional team consisting of six developers to ensure a smooth and successful launch.
The dashboard had two main purposes: First, it facilitated the onboarding of influencers. Second, it provided tools for them to track their conversions and campaigns.
Clique streamlined the onboarding process for new affiliates. With the dashboard in place, becoming an affiliate with Quicko only took a matter of minutes.
Clique provided affiliates with essential tools to track metrics such as conversions, campaigns, and URL tracking.
Having the dashboard in place meant affiliates always had a direct line to connect with Quicko, making communication much more efficient for everyone involved.
Quicko used to reach out to influencers directly for partnership discussions or have influencers call to inquire about partnerships, but this approach wasn't sustainable over time, enticing a need for a solution.
There was no dedicated platform for Quicko to onboard affiliates or for potential affiliates to contact them. This gap made it challenging for Quicko to efficiently manage their affiliates.
Due to the lack of a central point of contact for affiliates to reach Quicko, or vice versa, this frequently resulted in communication issues between the two parties.
Before Clique, affiliates relied entirely on Quicko to track their statistics. This often meant waiting a day or two for Quicko to consolidate and send back the data they needed..
The user category and primary user persona focused on influencers looking to partner with Quicko. Our primary goal was to streamline their onboarding process and provide easy access to their statistics.
I researched and interviewed influencers to understand their pain points in the partnership process with Quicko. They were typically contacted via emails and phone calls, and faced delays in accessing consolidated data from Quicko. My main objective was to address these key questions:
What features do affiliates need in the dashboard?
How can we streamline the onboarding process for affiliates?
Which metrics are most critical for affiliates to track within the dashboard?
After gathering insights from research, I began designing the product architecture. The goal was to create a dashboard giving influencers or brands control over their campaigns, settlements, conversions, revenue, and more.
The primary goal while designing the dashboard was to ensure a simple user flow and easy access to all dashboard features.
Clique features a full-screen layout divided into two parts: a side navbar and main content area. The home screen includes statistics such as conversions and revenue, providing influencers with comprehensive insights at a glance.
We focused on giving users a clear, visual breakdown of their essential modules directly on the dashboard's landing page. This makes data analysis quick and straightforward without the need to navigate through multiple screens.
Before Clique, onboarding influencers via calls or emails was inefficient and slow. I streamlined the process, enabling new users to quickly understand partnership benefits and onboard efficiently.
After onboarding, we avoided overwhelming users by creating a zero state for the dashboard. This introduced them to its major modules, making the experience more streamlined and easier to process.
This was a really interesting project to work on, as the main focus was on onboarding and displaying statistics. I learnt a lot about data visualization, cognitive load, how to effectively display large datasets etc. Overall, it was a really fun project to work on and learn from :)
